This large East Austin home had a lot of potential that was hiding behind disrepair and DIY jobs. While some issues were cosmetic, others were structural and dangerous. A double-thickness wall on the back of the house was falling over onto the porch. The posts on the back porch were not sufficient for the weight and the roof was beginning to collapse. Even though the paint on this home did turn out stunning, this home needed way more than just a paint job, so we pulled out all the stops:
Rebuilt the failing walls
Reinforced the porch roof with new stained cedar posts
New windows
New cedar shingle siding on the dormer windows, sides and back of the home
New exterior lights
New front door
Custom-built carriage style garage door
New exterior doors, including new framing for French doors on the back porch
Concrete overlay on the back porch and side porch
New fence
Landscaping, metal edging, and new walkway
New roof
New paint
